Clean and cute cafe with good and affordable food. Great brunch spot before a day at the castle. My husband and I each had buck fizzes, and he enjoyed the English breakfast while I the salmon Benedict.

Food is pretty good for what you pay. Great setting and a clean venue. My gripe with this place is due to someone who I understand could be a management staff member as I went in with a dearest merely for a coffee and maybe food, we decided against food due to nothing taking fancy on this occasion.
This resulted in him being short mannered with us after he asked us on not one not two but on three occasions followed by the stares we received as he'd appeared to have coerced a colleague to do the same thing making us feel very uncomfortable. I actually liked the place and took my fermions there on recommendation however surprisingly disappointed and now glad to not eat there this time! -

The worst meal I had on my first trip to London. From the food to the "service" and even down to the tea - it was horrible. The tea tasted like discount airline tea, the beans like they were dumped from a can, the "potatoes" like they were from McDonald's rejected pan, and the bread so poor quality that feeding it to the birds would have been animal abuse.
My vegetarian sausage is the only reason this place doesn't get one star. It was good although pre-packaged.
This was not our first choice, but Cote Brassierie was not yet open. Supposedly according to google reviews locals frequent this place and I noticed that as well. I have to imagine it is only because it is too distantly located from the train station for most tourist to bother with and so the locals come here to avoid the tourists as they do with making breakfast because it is not for the quality of food.
I don't usually take off for service but this experience was the height of bad amateur hour. The place was empty except for one other table and the waiter never refilled our water, never asked how we wanted our eggs or what type of bread we wanted. He just could not be bothered. He visited the table all of 2 times; once to take our order and then to drop the check. -

First visit as we were on a day out in Windsor. Have to compliment the place for cleanliness and good toilets. Service was excellent. However, the food was adequate. We both chose the Fish and Chips, as it's our favourite. The batter was too smooth, (not rough and wrinkly). The oven chips were overdone and not many of 'em. The Peas were really fresh and good. Coke x 1 was served cold. Total cost was £20.00....which is not bad fro a tourist spot like Windsor. Don't think we'll be going back....

When you find a gem, you stick with it. Since discovering Monty's, we have returned every day of our trip, for breakfast and lunch. The Eggs Benedict is to die for and the paninis are fantastic. Terrific cappuccinos. But the best part is the pleasant and cheery staff. :) Wonderful little cafe.
